A wee moan

Hello. I've been kind of absent from my usual self this week. I'm not usually fazed by the weather in all its guises but somehow the relentless rain we've been subjected to recently has taken its toll.

These words spring to mind: grumpy, ratty, disjointed, unfocused, untidy (yes, chaos reigns chez Pebbledash), a 'to do' list where nothing much is getting done...oh, I could go on and on, but I can see I need to nip this in the bud.

So some good things to turn this mood around:

:: the sun has made a lukewarm appearance today

:: the sky has been mainly blue

:: I walked the dogs today without getting soaked through to my knickers

:: I finished making the little sketch/doodle books, and they've now all been posted. I've so enjoyed this little project, it feels good giving things away for the sheer joy of it. And I do love wrapping up a parcel, too. So if you're still waiting for your package, I promise it's on its way.

:: the sun was out long enough this afternoon to cast shadows in the kitchen, like this...

There....I feel better now. Thank you for letting me have a little moan, I needed to clear the air. Of course, you might have given up on this post by now.....I can hardly blame you. But if you're still here, hope you have a weekend full of sunshine.

I so know what you mean. I feel I have spent the week moping about too. Your parcel dropping through my letterbox cheered me up though, thank you so much!

Been wading trough treacle here too this week. But it's Friday night - got to be a good thing!

Eagerly awaiting parcel - rural post here is a bit hit and miss! I totally agree with you about the weather. Our village is situated on a ridge and it has been windy and rainy. It has got on our nerves. I cannot make my mind up as to whether I feel cold or hot. We were so looking forward to our garden developing from a new-build site - the weather has not produce good growing weather - all except the roses they are looking good!

Oh my present is just gorgeous Diana. Thank you so much - I really am thrilled with it all x

I know just how you feel about the weather - much the same here to and my grumpiness is driving even me mad! Weak sun again today, but desperately trying to work of the mood with some cleaning xx

There seems to be a cloud over many of us at the moment Diana so you are not alone. Thank you so much for the book and tags. I love the way you did your binding. It looks very professional. Hope your mood lifts and you soon get back into the swing of things.

Oh know just how you feel....I think it's because we psychologically NEED a bit of summer by now (and surely are entitled to it?).
Thank you SO much for my notebooks.... just so so gorgeous. I turned it round and round in my hands marvelling at your neatness and professionalism and sheer creativity. Over the moon. thank you SO SO much.
