Okay, I'm back. I meant to post this yesterday and take some decent photos, but it didn't turn out like that. I was on a roll in the morning...racing through my 'to do' list, taking the dogs for a bracing walk on the beach and generally feeling good. Then in the afternoon my car had an altercation with a runaway industrial wheelie bin, and I came off worst. Dented rear, smashed window, cracked bumper. I should add that I was not in the car at the time, it was parked. Suffice to say that I now feel wrung out from all the hassle, I won't bore you with any more details, it's too tedious for words.
So my little giveaway to celebrate the hundred! And thank you for all your lovely comments too. I have a love of all things paper...pretty cards, notebooks, tissue paper, moleskines, books, binding, wrapping paper...you get the picture. Oh, and my scalpel and cutting tools. So I've been playing around turning my nightly doodles into hand carved stamps which I've then used for printing. It's been fun, and a learning curve too. Sometimes the print works well, sometimes it doesn't. And I get different results depending on the paper and it's texture.
I particularly like printing on tissue paper because it's very absorbent and I love the translucent quality.
These sheets make me smile. They work best with layers of plain white tissue paper behind to bring out the colour. Sorry for the slightly dreary photos.
These are some of the cards - all very simple, and blank inside, so use for anything and everything. I've also printed some square ones on different card, and they all come with envelopes.
This is where I'm unorganized...I haven't put any sets together yet, that's this weeks project. So what do you think? Would you like some? I'm going to give away three sets, and these will go to the first three names drawn from the hat next tuesday evening (26 August), so you have a week to leave me a comment and be included. Have to wait that long...a busy week here...my nephew and his girlfriend are coming to stay, and another friend is cycling down from near Oxford to stay for the weekend (yes, pushbike, 100 miles a day...maybe I'll photograph his thighs on arrival!!). So I must clear up the house, it's a tip.
Oh, and lurkers welcome...come and say hello!

Those cards and tissue papers are just lovely. You made the printing stamps yourself? Very clever.
Hmm, intrigued by the thought of photographs of thighs!
Sorry to hear about your car's encounter with the wheelie bin.
I love all your printing - the cards and paper look beautiful. A set of those would be fabulous so can I play please!
Looking forward to a photograph of the thighs ;)
You are very talented - especially like the ones of a clover in the various colours.
Sounds like my week! But mine involved lots of fabric and flat tires on my jeep. The cards are beautiful.
Grrr, sounds like my week, too!
You're much more industrious than me, making your own stamps of all things. They're lovely!
Your hand printed papers and cards are fab! I especially like the fern card. I hope that you are getting over the car ordeal and thank goodness you wasn't in it at the time. I can't get the thighs image out of my head and I don't even want it there!
I'm so sorry about the car and the wheelie bin. What rotten luck. I do hope it gets sorted out okay.
The tissue and cards are so beautiful! What do you mean dreary photos? Pretty please enter me in the draw :)

hello!
I hadn't realised the card you sent was your own work - it was just beautiful - I had been going to ask where you got it!
Hope you are feeling less wrung out - We had a car crash into the side of ours while we were stationery at a junction a few months ago. It was repaired but after 4 trips back to the garage to sort things out they had missed, we decided to trade it in and get another. I never felt safe in it again.

I hope that whoever drove their wheelie bin into your car left their contact details. What a pain.
The cards look lovely. It's something I've thought I'd like to try one day, but there's just so many hours in a day, and the job takes up what the kids, knitting and quilting does not. *sigh*
Hi Diana
sympathies with the car and subsequent hassles. 100 posts go girl, I enjoy reading your blog, found you via Rhonda Jean's

Sorry to hear about your car... there's nothing worse than all the inconvenience things like that cause.

You know, you mustn't tempt people to leave comments with free give a ways. Be fore you know it, you will have a hundred comments or more.
I do have to say that the cards are pretty and I couldn't buy any that are that pretty on my budget. So, yes, I could use them very much, so put me in the drawing.
Sorry about your car. It's always such a bummer when something precious gets damaged not due to anything we did especially.
Oh what a pain for you Diana. Hope the car thing is all sorted now.

Your stamps are lovely and printing the tissue paper is a great idea, it looks really effective.
Hope your car hassles get sorted quickly.
Looks fab Diane - well done. Please include me in the draw - sorry I live in USA!!
Love reading your blog.
Cheers,
Colette
Sorry - I haven't been around for ages. By heck, VERY glad you weren't attached to the car the collision happened - but can totally imagine the hassle. Mind you, if a wheelie bin would care to write off my old car, I would be HUGELY grateful. The cards, as always, are just gorgeous - you clever morsel!

What a coincidence that you should post about handcut stamps. I've been thinking about trying this but do I really need to try yet anothng thing and accumulate more stuff?
