A couple of days ago a parcel arrived with an american stamp....
A soft squidgy parcel....
From Sarah at The Plucky Knitter....
A skein of fingering weight merino I was lucky enough to win in Sarah's last giveaway.
It's so so soft, and such a beautiful colour.....
So now, decisions, decisions.....what shall I knit? Any suggestions?
Thanks so much, Sarah!

Personally I wouldn't knit anything. I would leave it displayed in its twisted skein! It looks beautiful. x
Lucky you! I agree with Simone - it makes a wonderful still life. Such a gorgeous colour.
That is the most beautiful colour!
How about a Baktus scarf?
Ooh, that's gorgeous. It's shouting 'shawl' to me.
A shawl could be nice? Looks lovely
Oh what lovely yarn! Now must go see what a Baktus is... K x
cant wait to see what you will knit, bet it will be lovely....thanks for all your support and kind comments I feel so so sad to have lost my blog...
Scarf definitely, then you can feel the softness on your neck and the colour near your face.
great photo x
oh, me again... my comments are like buses....
Merino is the dreamiest wool isn't it? My fair isle cardigan which is on the needles as I speak, is being made from merino wool, 4 ply. It is the lightest most wonderful wool ever.
I wonder what you'll make?
