swatching

Swatching, for this.

The skeins are enormous - I can barely pick this ball up between my fingers.

Yarn from here. I'm hoping it'll be a quick knit once I've sorted out my gauge. It's definitely the season for a new jumper. What's on your needles?

Oh it's going to be gorgeous, and it's so you!

I'm working on the Pretzel scarf (knitting group knitting) and the Goodale cardigan (alone-in-a-quiet-room-so-I-can-concentrate knitting).

That looks lovely and the colour is great. I don't have anything on my needles just now but this inspires me to download the pattern and get knitting!

It is a beautiful jumper. I like the detail around the neck and the length of the sleeves. I wish I could knit! x

It's going to be gorgeous Diana and the colour is perfect. As for me, no comment! Davey's jumper still is growing at a slower than slow pace, but I am beginning to feel a little inspired so who knows...sigh!! xx

A little scarf, a really easy lacy-look pattern, in the everlasting pink Calmer yarn that I will never get to the end of..... I really could do with a knitting tutor nearby, as I don't seem to improve with practice.

I love the colour you have there...

Nice and snuggly! Love your needles too.

Nothing on my needles, but do you remember that gorgeous purple scrumptious yarn I bought at Mrs Moon? It's on the hook and just divine!

That's a lovely colour.I've just finished my Mystery Knit-A-Long Shawl. Very scarey lace pattern but not so bad split into 5 weekly sections. Now attempting a ruffled scarf which looks like a strange sea creature. That's going ok though casting on 891 stitches nearly did me in!

Oof what a swoon-worthy colour. It reminds me of a summery Cornish sea.
