The view this morning from my bedroom window - you can just glimpse the sea in the distance.
A thick layer of snow fell overnight, and I woke to a white world - a world of silence and magic. I love snow!

Me too! Other than not being able to get to Manchester like I was supposed to. But the quiet is divine!
It really hasn't stopped all day either has it!

brrr!!!!
Now listen up Missus, how come all we got was ice!! No more snow since Monday and am freeezing cold. Grumpy toad that I am, I want to wake up tomorrow to enough snow that I can go back to bed instead of trudging out in the slippery ice to do the school run. So there!!! Will email when in a happier frame of mind lovely lady - have fun with Walter xx
What a great view. But my it does look cold. It's freezing up in this neck of the woods as well.
Lovely atmospheric photo. You are keeping up with your blogging every day - very good!
awww, lovely - thanks for sharing x
I do too! And I would love a view of the sea from my bedroom window.....
Wow! What a view! The snow makes it even better. We had more fall in the night too, and it's been trying hard all day.
I love that silence that only snow brings too.
We had snow overnight too--I was so happy this morning! K x
Beautiful. I can almost see the silence of the snow. x
A lovely photo, Diana. We had our first snow last week. It was beautiful. Enjoy!
It's so lovely to pop into blogs I've never found before...
Love you snowy Cornish view.
Just very very cold here with a little snow - don't believe the forecasts, there's an island of non-snowiness in the middle of East Anglia.

Gorgeous photograph. We've gone past the silent part. All that can be heard now is the sound of drives being cleared and the heavy revving of car engines as people try to negotiate their slippery way out of the road!
Weve had a week of it, and as beautiful as it is, the novelty is now wearing a bit thin. Now in Penzance - I could cope xxxxx
Beautiful! It must be very very cold for the snow to stay near the sea.
I know what you mean. I will wake and it will be so quiet. I know it's either very icy or it snowed.
