on the prom

I 'walk the prom' regularly. It's usually included on my 'round town' walk with Walter, and we get to go on the beach too, and search for sea glass amongst the pebbles. These photos were taken about fifteen minutes after these ones. A change of angle, a change of perspective, a change in the light, and I have photos that look like they were taken on a different day entirely.

I love the wild windy weather that throws spray up onto the prom. Sometimes you get a surprise drenching if you're not quick on your toes!

These are for the two Kates, to remind them of home.

Excellent 'home fix' thank you for that D and I know exactly where you were standing for those lovely shots. I love it when it's wild and windy like that and the seaweed gets thrown up onto the Prom, although I notice the tug boat's nowhere to be seen. I hope Walter behaved and didn't roll in anything unsuitable this time!

You can almost feel the wind and the spray coming off the sea. What a high tide too!

Beautiful photos. I too love a rough and stormy sea, though right now I'm longing for calm and blue water, and a hot summery day :)

Ooh, I love sea-glass, it's all smooth yet translucent. I got one in the shape of a heart once and being a Blondie fan I had to carry it about with me.

I love a prom in a storm with the sea and sky meeting and the spray - it's breathtaking. Thank you for reminding me of going to Brighton when I lived in Sussex...sigh!
