ingredients

I have here a rather beautiful box of ingredients.

Can you guess what they're for?

Thank you for your lovely comment on my blog - I feel that I have been absent far too long! I am not sure about those beautiful vials - is it something to do with dyeing?

It is gorgeous! Could they be ingredients possibly used in making hand made papers? x

I'm guessing they are for some papermaking. :) They look pretty perfect just as they are, though! :) Love that blue.

What a box of treasures. Are you making books?

Are you making paper? I must confess I had no idea. What would I do without google?
Looking forward to seeing what you do with it all.

Very intriguing ... they are indeed beautiful little bottles. I'm guessing they may be used for dyeing and/or paper.

Look forward to seeing what you create Diana.

Happy Birthday! I recently found your blog through MrsM's listings and have been reading through your posts and enjoying your pictures of that lovely area of the world (and Walter!)and your musings.

Hope you have a wonderful day.

Happy Birthday - I wish I were 47 again, this year I can add 20 years to that! But I'm only 17 inside, it's just the outside that has become older!
I adore bluebells and a walk in the bluebell wood is one of life's treats in springtime.
As for the various things - yes, paper making is my guess.

Hmm, alchemy perhaps? A mystic Diana type of Alchemy? They look utterly fascinating.

(That e is very important).

Must be some sort of universal fabric repair kit, perhaps for repairing dresses, dolls or may be upholstery?
