thrifty storage

A little retro storage spied in one of my local charity shops. I'm assuming these were for storing singles, back in the days of my youth. You do remember having a turntable to play your records on, don't you?

At forty nine pence each I couldn't resist. A perfect way to keep track of my stationery collection, which seems to be growing...

When I had my mini cards printed I also had some note cards done. I love them...and then a week later I find Moo have suddenly discontinued them. I'm cross. I was going to get some more done, but I'm too late.

Ps :: If you'd like some of your own personal stationery, check out Tanya's great giveaway. You have until the end of the month.

That thrifty buy makes a perfect stationery rack.
We still have a turntable and loads of iconic LP's - they get played occasionally too!

I can just see my Mum's single collection in that rack, back in the 1970s! It's a great find, as these retro pieces are very collectible. It really does make good storage for your stationery. x

I cant tell you how cross I was with moo, especially as the news came, with a big discount the day after I had ordered 100 christmas cards in that design!! I just ordered the cards so I will let you know what they are like, as for the postcards , they are very glossy, so were not to my liking...hope you got my email re the present...love H

What a fab find. I've still got a turntable (and my parents have one which is in a sort of suitcase and will take 7 records at a time). I love my records. There's just something about vinyl!
