I love that term for midmorning snack "elevenses". I am English but only lived there for 7 years, but my family are all English nd this just made me homesick for England and nostalgic. It is a term we don't use in Canada, but I remember my granny making elevenses and occasion!
Isn't this weather nice!! That bun looks delish - I must get to the Farmer's Market (I assume you mean the one at St Johns?) I have not managed it yet (shame on me) C x

Mmmmm sticky pecan buns... well there goes the diet for today! I can feel a baking session coming on.
Oooh, anemones! Such jewels. And so thirsty - turn your back, and the vase needs to be refilled with water.
That looks like the perfect start to the weekend.
Hope you got through your work and that the weekend has really started.

I love your big (bun) and beautiful (anemones) photos. Enjoy the sunshine over the weekend Diana. x
Oh I want to visit your farmers' market! K x
Mm, that looks delicious - love the sticky brown paper and pretty flowers too. Anemones are an underestimated flower I think.
Mmmm, I could just eat that bun! Hope your weekend is turning out just fine.
Love the anemones, too, one of my favourite flowers.
Exactly what I would choose at the Farmer's market. Must incorporate
"elevenses" into my life.
