dipping my toe in

Hello.

The first of the month is always a good date to start anything...or perhaps pick up the pieces of something that has lain idle for a while, so here I am. The last few days have finally brought some sunshine to the far south west, and the view from my bedroom window has been rather beautiful just before sunset...

and again just after sunrise.

I never tire of looking out to sea to check the weather.

A beautiful view indeed. Hope you are well and that the blog dipped toe is soon followed by a full immersion.

Mind you, we seem to be running at full speed just to stay where we are here at the moment. Sounds like you're the same!

Oh, to see such an open vista and to have it include the sea ... what an inspiring feast for the eye. Thank you so much for sharing both sunrise and sunset with us.

I also feel quite rushed, and wish for more time to for posts. Perhaps seeing your photos will inspire me to reconsider the passage of time.

Best wishes.

I keep seeing the sunset and thinking 'I must get my camera' - then I stare at it some more and forget.

Good to see you back. I do envy you that view from the bedroom. From my own? A sea of houses!

I love this. You're steps away from Monet's Rouen Cathedral series!

It is rather lovely. x

If I had a view like that, I'd be checking the weather a lot!

It would be interesting to photograph it every hour through the day to see the changes of light and shadow... like Monet did with Rheims Cathedral.

My toe is only dipping in occasionally too Diana. I go through phases with my blog.

It's always lovely to see the view from your window. Hope you are getting some better weather in Cornwall than here in 'dry' East Anglia:-)!

A beautiful view, especially as, being a night owl, I rarely get to see early mornings with such clarity...
