a study of paws

Why is it that dogs are so effortlessly flexible compared to us humans? My boy contorts himself into all sorts of odd positions, and then snoozes for hours without a care in the world.

This time his paws seemed so perfectly posed, a photo or two was necessary.

Lovely photos. Cats too seem to sleep with their paws in some strange positions but seem to be really comfortable!

Cats too - often an opportunity to photograph a bunch of paws!

Hello lovely. I can contort myself like that too but it is probably far less attractive if truth be told! Enjoy your week and some more pics soon please of knitty-type things as I need motivation xx

What a lovely image - it would make a fabulous card.

Were there any dodgy dreams going on?

Contort themselves and also manage, like cats, to sleep in what must surely be the most uncomfortable places... and then sleep for hours!

I think they are just more tolerant so long as they get their sleep than we are. I want a proper bed with a duvet and pillows... not a box that is just slightly too small. Or a paper bag. Tho' I know cats that would sleep on my bony lap for hours too!!

There is something about paws that inspires affection. They are such lovely extensions of their owners.
