Such a dramatic picture. It contrasts well against the daffodil photo.

Love these two. Daffodils are one of my favourites with their grey green stems and leaves acting as such a perfect foil for the bright yellow. The tree is perfect too Diana. No sun here today so leaden skies all around...brrr! xx

lovely photo - makes me thing of wuthering heights for some reason - all that atmospheric drama I suppose. Looking forward to the next photos.

I'll miss the daffs this year. They are my favourite flower, struggling through in the darkest days and giving hope for a brilliant spring.

What a gorgeous set of new year photographs. I think you have the makings of a fab calendar. Or maybe postcards. Both?

What a great idea, your 'observing' feature. Nature is so wonderful. Beautiful photos as ever. Sending wishes for a very Happy New Year Diana. x
