Looks Yum - I have to confess I've never tasted pumpkin, except seeds, perhaps I'll have to try some, the smell has always put me off.

In the Netherlands, pumpkin is still an alien ingredient and not yet something we cook with, although I think there may be cake mixes now with pumpkin cake, which must be like pumpkin bread. My mother in law in America, used to make the best pumpkin pies. I used to love them with fresh whipped cream, although I have to say that toasted pumpkin bread with marmalade sounds really good too.

This so reminds me of my mum. She loved marmalade with a really thick peel. Me, I like mine with hardly any! x
