Observing :: the moor

Scattered through January I'm going to post some photos of whatever catches my eye as I go about my day. Join in if you like!

Yesterday I walked up on the moor, the first time in months. Crisp winter sunshine and low afternoon light.

This landscape never fails to take my breath away, whatever the weather.

Lovely winter sunshine. Not the usual bleak January sky. I feel most uplifted just looking at the photos. Thanks for sharing.

How beautiful!

I want to come back to Europe so bad and finally get to see Cornwall, too.

I quite agree. i think that Winter is my favourite season, as long as it is dry. It's my favourite time for trees too.

Hi, I really like this moor-pictures. I have been in Cornwall in summer 2008 for the first time and it was really great ! Is this the Bodmin moor ?
Best regards from Germany, Karin

I love Cornwall, home of my ancestors. I love the moors too, any moor, but especially Cornish and Northumberland ones. God I miss England!
