This is my favourite view of St Michael's Mount, taken from a back lane, looking down the valley. In the background is Cudden Point, and beyond that, faintly, is the Lizard - ending in the most southerly point in England.
Stunning. My wee sister is moving to Cornwall in about 4 months time. Canna wait to visit her and get to see all these sights and more for real. Thanks and loves, Ionwen XXX
Not seen your blog before, but it looks lovely - as does this photo of the Mount. Visted there to see the then Lord & Lady St Leven just over ten years ago (for an article) and enjoyed a tour of their historic island home. It truly has the Wow! factor, without the aid of the Next catalogue or Cath Kidston! I love to visit that part of Cornwall (and I enjoy the novels of the late Janie Bolitho, which are set in and around Newlyn and Penzance.) Margaret P

It's a beautiful view. It looks like some faraway land! x
Lovely. Those colours are perfect, mind you the Mount is so photogenic, whatever the weather.
We're enjoying some real Springtime weather here too - proper job !!!

Beautiful photo! I love how the UK and France both have a similar set up with these little castle towns on islands...xxx
Oh that is a lovely view. Such a magical place, it must be lovely to see it frequently in all different weathers.

We stayed in Marazion the last time we were in Cornwall.

What a beautiful view and how well you have captured it....
There is Definitely a story in that picture!! It looks almost like a Northern Renaissance painting - something by Brueghel maybe. Fabulous!
Such a beautiful corner of Britain you live in Diana. My favourite in fact. x
