blossom

Thank you for all your wonderful birthday wishes - I had a lovely weekend, culminating in my first visit here. These gardens are evolving into somewhere quite magical, somewhere I know I will visit again and again.

The blossom was stunning - especially when contrasted with the ever-present blue skies, and the pale lichen adorning the trees.

There's something quite captivating about blossom, something hopeful...and happy. A promise of good things to come.

Hi Diana, here's a belated Happy Birthday wish for you!! I love the positive outlook, as I shall be half-way to 90 myself later on this year!! The Potager garden looks great and maybe we will visit that when we go to Portscatho in the summertime. Lovely photos. Happy weekend. Denise

Your photos are beautiful. The potager garden looks like my kind of thing! I would love to go there one day.

Blpossom is so beautiful isn't it? It is no wonder why the Japanese have a festival devoted entirely to the appreciation of blossom!

Hello Diana. I have passed this place on numerous occasions, but really didn't know what it was about. Will definitely have a visit now (perhaps we could both go?). Looks gorgeous and I love the word 'potager' anyway. That's what we try to create in our garden though the degree of success varies hugely!
Yes please to the meet up!!! End of next week should see a quietening down so maybe the week after?
Happy weekend xxx

That looks a fabulous place, I will have to visit when we are in Cornwall later this year. I love it around the Helford River. We once stayed in the cottages near the Ferryboat Inn - so beautiful.xxxxx

Watch out for Apple blossum - it smells as good as it looks.
